Talk to Our Team

The A/Z Airway has been named one of four finalists in the Swimming with Sharks innovation competition at ANESTHESIOLOGY 2026, the American Society of Anesthesiologists' annual meeting. The team will pitch to a panel of anesthesia industry leaders on Sunday, October 18, at 1:30 pm on the Center Stage in the Exhibit Hall.

The A/Z Airway is a third-generation supraglottic airway designed for bidirectional use. It addresses two moments the Difficult Airway Society defines: moving from a supraglottic airway to an endotracheal tube when intubation is difficult, and stepping a patient back down at the end of a case. The device is protected by four issued U.S. patents and has been evaluated in a preliminary 53-patient study.
