Privacy Policy

There are two kinds, and both are short.

What you send us

The contact form asks for your name and email address, and optionally your organization and which of our audiences you belong to. That is the whole form. It has no message box and it does not accept attachments, so those four items are the only information you can send us through this site.

What is recorded automatically

Our analytics record anonymous, aggregate usage such as page views, general device and browser type, and approximate region. They do not use cookies, they do not build a profile of you, and they do not identify you. Our host also keeps ordinary server logs, and when you submit the form your IP address is held briefly in memory so that automated submissions can be limited. It is not stored.

Please do not send confidential or proprietary details about an invention through this site. The form is a short introduction, not a secure channel, and an unprotected disclosure can affect your own rights before we ever speak.

Tell us that you would like to talk, and we will put the appropriate confidentiality agreement in place before any detail changes hands. For the same reason, please do not send patient information or any other protected health information through this site.

We use what you send us to:

• Reply to your enquiry and arrange a conversation.
• Understand who is reaching out, so the right person at Fairmount answers.
• Understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.

We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or add you to a marketing list because you contacted us.

We use two service providers to run this site. Each one only handles what it needs to do its job, and neither is permitted to use your information for its own purposes:

Vercel

Hosts the site and provides the cookieless analytics and performance monitoring described above.

Resend

Delivers your contact form submission to us as an email.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.

This site has no database and stores nothing. Your submission reaches us as an email, and we keep it for as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a reasonable record of the conversation. You can ask us to delete it at any time, and we will unless the law requires us to keep it.

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email the address at the bottom of this page and we will take care of it.

This site does not use cookies. There are no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and no preference cookies, and our analytics are cookieless by design. That is why you were not asked to accept anything when you arrived.

If we ever add something that needs a cookie, we will update this page first and explain what it does.

The site is served over an encrypted connection and we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us. No method of transmitting or storing information is ever completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, which is also why the note above asks you to keep confidential material off the form.

This site is intended for clinicians, institutions, and industry partners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will remove it.

This site may link to organizations we do not operate. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always posted here with the date it was last updated.
